Machu Picchu!!

Hello everyone! We have another 2025 Exotic Destinations release revealed for Collector Club members today. He's on the Peruvian Paso Stallion and is a stunning glossy dappled black designed by Sommer Prosser. I can't resist anything glossy (with one exception) so I will be entering for him.

My Newest Additions and A New Freedom Club Release

Breyer Collector Club members got a new release yesterday. The annual gambler's choice Freedom Series model on Wahoo King, a mold that hasn't been used since 2008. He comes in three beautiful, gloss colorways and for the first time in ever, Breyer was allowing members to purchase up to 3 in on transaction. This doesn't guarantee you one of each color, so if you do purchase three at once, may the odds forever be in your favor.

Now onto my latest arrivals the past few weeks. Last week I received my Beast and September DAH from Stone Horses along with my Alana from Breyer.

Beast is absolutely stunning. Jess did a wonderful job with him. If you look close enough, he as a crown marking on this back leg and and upside down pink rose (losing petals) on his face.

My September DAH is on my favorite Pebble mold and in the Patriotic Blue color. It is much prettier in person than my photos make it look.

Alana is very pretty and well done. The chalky look really makes her color stand out.

This week I got three more Breyer models from Triple Mountain Model Horses. First up is the Orren Mixer inspired Ideal Series Buckskin. This also looks very well done and IMO flawless.

Next up is Surfer's Riptide. He's very cute and I really like this new Welsh mold. He has a tiny flaw on his one side, but nothing I'm worried about.

Last, but not least, is Big Lex. He's my favorite color and the only thing that would make him better is if he were glossed.

That's all for now. I did order one Rambler and since I like all the colors (secretly hoping for the Paint) I'll be happy with whomever I receive. I may also be tempted to purchase more who knows. Stay tuned for a special Stone Horse piece that's on her way as I type.

New Arrivals and Releases

My Mallorca arrived last week and looks very nice with one minor flaw near his shoulder. It's a flaw I can live with, just sort of wish it was on his off side. Luckily, thanks to the angle of these photos, you can't see it.

Admiral and Wings traveled along with Mallorca and minus a few shiny marks in their white are gorgeous. I love any shade of blue and Breyer's wedgewood blue is always pretty. I can't wait to see the rest of the 2025 Vintage Club lineup.

Breyer also released April Fool's Day blind bags 2025 last week. I think all the molds and colors a adorable, but haven't tried my luck at getting one yet.

Meet the cutest Mother's Day Unicorn Mare and Foal plushies from Breyer too. Haley and Astro are too cute and I'll have to get them for my sister and niece at some point.

Almost for got! Stablemate Club members, our second release-Alana-is now available as well.

April Fool's Shenanigans

Welcome to April everyone. Breyer and Stone did some fun April Fool's Day 'models' yesterday. Breyer shared with us a special edition model of Pal O' Mine that you can read all about here. He was a fun spoof on the Nikolas mold.

 Pal O' Mine Model

Today Breyer revealed this giveaway for three Pal O' Mine's test runs. I entered, it'd be fun to own such a special piece from Breyer.

Palomino German Riding Pony

Stone Horses had an amazing OOAK piece that would make heads roll 🤣 Pun intended. OOPS A Cluster was-in my opinion-a masterpiece. I would have chosen the holographic paint job for all those ponies.

In more serious news, Breyer also revealed the VIP Swag that VIP Ticket holders will be receiving this year. VIP Ticket holders will randomly get the rose gold or silver cooler bag which will contain all the other goodies. The can cooler is also a random color draw, but check out those pins. Possible micro-run variations?? I hope so.

Two mini cooler backpacks, three can coolers, stickers, pins, keychain, tumbler, and sunglasses

And lastly, here is this year's Beyer Ambassador model Salud! The third color way will be revealed at BreyerFest.

And The Breyer News Just Keeps on Coming-Meet Admiral and Wings

The second release of this 2025 Vintage Club is an adorable stallion and foal pair as Wedgewood blue pintos. They only thing I think that could be this set better is if they were glossed, but I'm Team Gloss all the way (99.9% of the time anyway)

Members have until 4/09/2025 to complete their purchases. Once again, I will wait to see if we get another stablemate club release too.

Essay Contest Winners Announced and New Exotic Destination Series Release

Breyer has released more news this week after a bit of a dry spell. We finally get to see the winners for "Why My Favorite Horse Deserves to be a Breyer Model" essay contest.  Here's the blog post if you'd like to read it. I'm thrilled this pretty fellow-Cash-will be available to all as a mid-year release.

Cash Breyer Model

Congrats to the winners and Skip to My Lulu has my vote for best name ever.

Next up in the Exotic Destination series is Mallorca, a gorgeous buttermilk buckskin on Duende. Even though I'm not a big fan of the mold, I do love the color so I'll try my luck at getting picked for him. Good luck to all who enter for him.

New Arrivals

Hello!! I received some of new models this week I'd like to share. First up is Maddox (yes he is finally on his way to members if they purchased him, despite CCGs software snafu that struck again). He think he is a very nicely done model and just to be on the safe side I'm using quake hold to make sure he stays up right next to his buddies.

Here's the Vintage Club's Inferno. I love when Breyer puts new flashy colors on vintage molds and add a layer of thick gloss. He is another just in case quake hold pony though. Mercutio arrived with him. Both are very well done models.

Dr. Doolittle also arrived safely from Stone Horses. I had him on laybuy and am thrilled he's finally here. Jess Hamil did an great job with his color and design.

I'm still waiting on the rest of an order from Jan 17th of the brilliance stablemate gift set and the deluxe collection set. Breyer said they'd be shipping next week, I'm not holding my breath.

If you're a Stablemate Club Member, our first release is here. Mercutio is on the new Horatio mold, AKA Mini Othello. I can't wait to add him to my collection and now that he's available, he'll be shipping along with my Inferno.

Maddox!

Maddox with a green background and the Collector Club logo

Attention fellow Collector Club members, out first release for this year is now available. Maddox was released at 1pm EST and cost $90. The price increase did come with free shipping (domestically) plus any state tax that's applicable. I did purchase him because I've been looking forward to this model since he was announced last year.

I'm still holding off til the last possible second to purchase my Inferno in hope that we'll also get a Stablemate Club release to travel with him.

Inferno!!

I finally got into the Vintage Club in 2019 (for 2020 and when memberships where still limited to 500) and have made sure to renew on time ever since. I don't care if I end up not liking a model I will not give up my spot. That being said, Inferno is our first release for 2025 and is now available to purchase until 02/12/2025.

He is an adorable glossy dappled bay on the Black Stallion mold. He will come with a paperback copy of Walter Farley's book The Black Stallion's Blood Bay Colt and a blanket. I'll be waiting to purchase my copy to see if we get a stablemate club release to keep him company on the journey home.

New Lottery Model

 Hello everyone!

Breyer has officially released all of this year's BreyerFest Special Runs (see previous post) and they also surprised Collector Club members' with their first lottery run of the year. Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, is a continuation of the Exotic Destination Series that began last year. He's a beautiful glossy dapple grey on the Salinero mold.

Prague - Showing Both sides

I am a sucker for gloss so I decided to enter on one of my accounts for him, but he's similar enough to Maddox that if I don't get picked I'll be okay and wait for the his release instead.

BreyerFest 2025 **Updated to Reflect New Model Prices that Breyer Snuck In On Us**

https://www.breyerhorses.com/cdn/shop/articles/cheers-to-75-years-294502_1750x625_crop_center.jpg?v=1729971082

Celebration Model:

Tight Line AKA Phish is this year's lovely celebration model. You can read all about him here. He even comes with an adorable 75 Years blanket. If I remember correctly it is not on the model in the box so hopefully no need to worry about rubs.

Ticket Model Stablemates:

Bellini, created on an adorable polo pony variation of the Thoroughbred mold (#5602PP) originally sculpted by Kathleen Moody.

Mimosa, a glowing palomino tobiano pinto created on the mini Indian Pony mold (#5751) originally sculpted by Chris Hess.

Cava, a deliciously glossy dapple bay on the Cantering Andalusian mold (#5731) sculpted by the incredible Maggie Jenner-Bennett.

Prosecco, done on the Playful Draft Stallion mold (#5759) sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig. He's a gorgeous shaded black snowflake appaloosa.

I love all of these little guys. Much more than last year's general ticket models and that's saying a lot considering I love decorators.

Special Runs:

Get This Party Started $75/2,300 Pieces-VIP & AA

I'm glad I will be going in person this year with my SIL because I NEED this lovely spicy lady. She is definitely a stunning piebald mare on the Croi (Connemara) mold by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig.

Let The Good Times Roll $85/2,500 Pieces-VIP, AA, and OT

Another flashy paint job on a mold a like and glossed! Yes please. I'm already seeing that I probably won't be able to keep my wanted list to a minimum. This mold was sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton

Good Times and Great Friends $90/2,300 Pieces VIP & AA

This is another lovely set that I will need. Breyer always does a great job with glossing bays and I think this set will look great with my Bolero. My want list just keeps on growing. This lovely pair was sculpted by Rayvin Maddock of Khrysalis Studios

To The Ties That Bind Us $78/2,200 Pieces

Be still my heart. This is the biggest must have if I ever had a holy grail I NEED no matter what model-this guy is it. He's my favorite mold in my favorite color with an adorable blanket Appaloosa pattern to boot. If Breyer does mirco runs this year, which let's be honest, they mostly definitely will; I can imagine the run for this guy being gold instead of the blue to represent Breyer's colors. He was sculpted of course by Kathleen Moody.

Seize The Day Surprise $90/7,800 Pieces

Here's our surprise horse logo. I, along with pretty much everyone else, believe Fireheart is the leading contender to be this year's surprise model. I would love/hate that because I do adore him and would want all the colorways. That being said, I think it'd be fun to see him in vintage colors; but that may just be me.

YOLO $80/2,400 Pieces

YOLO, you're name makes me cringe, but I do think you're pretty and will need to add you to my collection. I also think he looks similar to Wells from 2023. None the less, I love this mold and all things done by Kathleen Moody.

Hats Off To You $75/2,500 Pieces

As far as vintage (and I mean VINTAGE) molds go I do think this guy is adorable. I only have one model on this mold (LaFitte) so yes, he is also a need for me. I think it's great he comes with two different hats too. He was sculpted by the infamous Chris Hess way back in Breyer's early hey days.

Future Is Bright $80/2,200 Pieces

Future is Bright palomino Special Run Model left facing  Future is Bright palomino Special Run Model right facing

Bandalero got a new do. Morgen Kilbourn's new Criollo mold will be making his BreyerFest debut in this gorgeous dappled Palomino with a long mane. I adore Morgen's molds she's sculpted for Breyer, they're always a bit spicy. I think he'd look fun next to my dappled Palomino Samba Surprise horse from way back in 2016.

Life's A Journey $68/2,000 Pieces

Life's a Journey - Blue Merle Collie  Life's a Journey - Blue Merle Collie

Our final SR model for this year is on the Collie mold. I was hoping for a dog (secretly hoping Breyer fixed the Rin Tin Tin mold and would shock us this year with his return) and we got one. Sculpted by Chris Hess back in 1956 and originally released as Lassie, I'll be thrilled to add this adorable pooch to my collection. PS: Breyer please release a Pug mold.

Limited Editions: These models are available to both In-person and Online attendees with the correct ticket purchase. You can read all about the different ticket types and their inclusions here and learn about the new master QR code here

Belesema Sapphire $75/2,000 Pieces

This is our first portrait model done on Kathleen Moody's Arabian Mare mold. I think she's a very pretty chestnut, but nothing I need at the moment. That could change over the next few months however.

Halcyonia Night Life $80/2,000 Pieces

Our second portrait model is a stunning Welsh Section C stallion. His model is on the new Cantering Welsh Cob mold by Eva Rossiter that was a part of last year's Premier Club. He's another must have for me.

Game Day Surprise $38/1,750 Pieces

Our third portrait model is a lovely dark buckskin Quarter Horse featured on the Hollywood Dun It mold sculpted by Carol Herden. This is the first time (that I'm aware of anyway) that Breyer has used a Freedom Series mold for a portrait horse. I think he's adorable and wish Breyer would switch the button the their shrink ray and enlarge this model so we can have a Traditional sized reining model

Beau N' Arrow $85/2,000 Pieces

Our fourth and final portrait model is this absolutely stunning chestnut pinto on the Cleveland Bay mold sculpted by Karen Gerhardt. I think he's beautiful and will definitely need to get one. Insert the Tiger King I will never financially recover from this meme here.

Red Letter Day, done on mold #5608, is a miniature version of the 2015 Open Show Reserve Champion prize model Tout Suite

I don't know when I started collecting so many stablemates, but they take up so much less space on the shelf so I can always get more of them. I've been purchasing this set the last few BreyerFest's and plan on acquiring this one too.

Party Pal $21/1,950 Pieces

Palomino Party Pal Plushies facing each other.

I honestly don't know what I started becoming obsessed with Breyer's plushies. I know I really started collecting them in 2020, with a few here and there before that. I know regret not getting the plushie Oliver, so I'll be keeping an eye out for him. This guy is adorable and another reiteration of Pal O' Mine (remember Pal's Palette from 2021.) I'll be adding this guy to my growing plushie herd and we even get to pick the color of the Pom Pom hat we want. I'll be picking blue.

Standing Ovation $55/1,750 Pieces

Crystal American Saddlebred Stallion model  Crystal American Saddlebred Stallion model

Our final reveal for the 2025 BreyerFest line up is this powerful looking crystal. Breyer miniaturized Kathleen Moody's American Saddlebred Stallion into this year's crystal. I only recall ever getting one crystal for sure and that was the Bouncer from 2020 I believe. I was one of the lucky ones' who received him in one piece. That being said, I'd be concerned that whether I purchased this guy in person or on line he might not make it home in one piece.

Hoopla $78/3,000 Pieces

This beautiful leaping pinto is one of our ONLINE ONLY limited edition models. I both love this color and mold so he's a definite for me. He's featured on Morgen Kilbourn's lovely Bristol mold. Breyer has truly hit this year's models out of the park.

Shindig $16/3,000 Pieces

Grey sabino Stablemates scale Rhenish Draft model horse facing right  Grey sabino Stablemates scale Rhenish Draft model horse facing left

This adorable model is on the Giorgio mold (the stablemate version of Brigette Eberl's Georg mold) and is our second ONLINE ONLY limited edition model. He's another need for me. I might as well start signing my paychecks directly over to Breyer at this point.
